Such a simple but delicious dessert; Pineapple puff pastry with a smooth, sweet, cream cheese spread, this is one dessert the whole family will love.
Ingredients
- 1 Pineapple, cored and sliced
- 2 sheets Puff Pastry, thawed and cut into 4x4 inch squares
- 4 oz. Cream Cheese, softened
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
- 1 Egg, for egg wash
- Raspberries for garnish
- Powdered Sugar for garnish
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix the cream cheese, vanilla, and powdered sugar.
- Core and slice pineapple.
- Cut pastry sheet into squares then cut each corner for folding into pineapple.
- Spread a dollop of cream cheese mixture onto the pastry.
- Place pineapple slice on top of cream cheese and fold in pastry.
- Top with raspberry in the center.
- Brush with egg wash.
- Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees F. for 15-20 minutes.
- Dust with powdered sugar.
