Such a simple but delicious dessert; Pineapple puff pastry with a smooth, sweet, cream cheese spread, this is one dessert the whole family will love.

Ingredients

  • 1 Pineapple, cored and sliced
  • 2 sheets Puff Pastry, thawed and cut into 4x4 inch squares
  • 4 oz. Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 Egg, for egg wash
  • Raspberries for garnish
  • Powdered Sugar for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix the cream cheese, vanilla, and powdered sugar.
  2. Core and slice pineapple.
  3. Cut pastry sheet into squares then cut each corner for folding into pineapple.
  4. Spread a dollop of cream cheese mixture onto the pastry.
  5. Place pineapple slice on top of cream cheese and fold in pastry.
  6. Top with raspberry in the center.
  7. Brush with egg wash.
  8. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees F. for 15-20 minutes.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar.
