Turkey Sandwiches on Puff Pastry

Puff pastry, turkey, cheese, and a delicious mustard sauce all baked to a crispy, light, golden brown. Great for a quick lunch or snack.
Ingredients
- 2 sheets Puff Pastry, thawed
- 6-8 slices Turkey
- 1/2 cup Gruyere Cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup Butter, melted
- 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
- 1/8 cup Fresh Chives, chopped
- 2 Tbsp Sour Cream
- 1 Tbsp Dijon Mustard
- 1 clove Garlic, minced
- 1 Egg, for egg wash
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Roll out puff pastry and place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Poke with a fork.
- Bake for 20 minutes. Remove and let cool slightly.
- In a small bowl, add the cheeses, breadcrumbs, and melted butter. Mix thoroughly. Spread 1/2 the cheese mixture on the baked puff pastry.
- Top with turkey.
- In a second small bowl, add the sour cream, mustard and garlic. Spread on top of the turkey.
- Spread the remaining cheese mixture on top.
- Add the second pastry puff sheet over the top. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with chives. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Sprinkle with move chives if desired.
