Summertime means frozen treats that can easily be made at home at a fraction of the cost of restaurants. This Pineapple Freeze dessert is so satisfying and loaded with flavor.

Ingredients

• 6 ounces pineapple juice
• 1 large scoop vanilla ice cream (about 3/4 cup)
• 2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
• 2 Tbsp sugar
• splash of lemon juice
• pinch of salt

Instructions

1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Push down any pineapple chunks if necessary.
2. Pour into a bowl and freeze the mixture for 30-40 minutes.
3. Scoop into serving bowls and enjoy!
